All the usual tropical sportfishing species are available around Phuket. Techniques for catching these fish are as wide range as trolling with artificials, dead baits and live baits, trolling with the downrigger and many more. Phuket ofers good fishing all year round. The months of june to october, during the south west monsoon, are specially good for Sailfish and Wahoo.

October november is a good time to go after Black Marlin, the drop-of west of Phuket and Similan island are the hot spot. The best fishing is usually around full moon and spring moon.

Mergui Archipelago - Burma

Season; Year round

The Burma waters have some of the best marine life in Asia. The Mergui Archipelago 800 islands just north of Thai border at Ranong, offers incredible gamefishing opportunities. Black Marlin, Sailfish, Giant Travelly, King Mackerel, Tuna, Wahoo, Big Snappers, Bullshark, Tigershark, Hammarhead m.m.These waters have not been heavily commercially fished and the islands still have pristine wildlife.

Andaman Islands - Indien

Season: October to May

1999 we will start to arrange long range trips from Phuket to the Andaman islands. The archipelago of 329 islands belonging to India, located 420 miles North West from Phuket is a Mecca for big game fishing. Divers have spotted 3 meter long Dogtooth Tunas - world record size and Giant Trevallys bigger than the presen all tackle IGFA world record.. The 1000 meter drop off on the west cost of the islands offer world class fishing for Blue & Black Marlin. Huge Wahoos, King Mackerels etc...We will use a new 57 feet custom built gamefishing boat for this trip
